A form integration is successful when it sends complete, accurate information to the right place and makes the next step clear to both the customer and the team. Test the full route rather than only checking that a contact appears.

Start with the business process

Decide which information is essential. Ask only for details needed to respond or route the enquiry. Confirm the form has a privacy notice and that any consent fields are appropriate for the communications you plan to send.

Build a clear structure

Connect the form through a native integration, embed or secure webhook. Map name, email, phone, service interest and source carefully. Configure duplicate handling and assign an owner or routing rule. Create an opportunity only when the form represents a genuine sales enquiry, not every newsletter signup.

Configure the customer journey

Send a customer confirmation with a realistic expectation for response time. Notify the assigned staff member with the submitted details and a direct link to the record. Avoid sending sensitive details through channels that are not intended for them.

Test carefully

Test desktop and mobile submissions, invalid entries, duplicate submissions and optional fields. Confirm source attribution, pipeline stage, owner, notification, customer response and spam controls. Retest after site or CRM changes.
